Sunset Pass

This 10-mile hike passed through verdant meadows. And although we were both hoping and not hoping to see a grizzly, we were both disappointed and a bit relieved to not see one.

During the entire day, we only ran into one other person: a backpacker with his energetic dog headed to the Pinto Lake backcountry campsites.
