We saw several different sections of the remaining pieces of the Berlin Wall. There is currently much controversy over whether to preserve or not.

The Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauer Strasse (one side of the street was in East Berlin and the other in West Berlin). This was originally a cemetery wall but was then reinforced in 1980.
