One of the hikes was five miles through the woods along the Lower Magruder and Magruder Branch Trail, while the other was closer to home along the Anacostia bike trail a few blocks from our house. A great way to spend the day - catching up with a friend while getting out in the perfect autumn weather!

This stag was walking through the woods with about a half dozen other deer. They were all fairly calmly munching while keeping an eye on us.
