Day Two: Quito - Capilla del Hombre

In addition to exploring Guayasamin's La Capilla del Hombre, we happened upon a parade through the streets of Quito marking the 100th anniversary of Eloy Alfaro's death.

The streets were packed as the parade marched through the city to Parque El Ejido, where the President was to speak; we did not follow.

Walking down a fairly quiet La Ronda mid-afternoon. When we went back later in the evening, it was packed with tourists and blaring music from all the restaurants and bars trying to lure customers.
