Jinghong Tropical Botanical Gardens

On our first full day in Jinghong, we set off on foot from our hotel for the Tropical Botanical Gardens. We spent a few hours wandering around beautiful flowers, grasses, and trees. It was a beautiful way to spend part of a day!

We think these are papayas. There were hundreds of trees laden with fruit--and lots of signs warning us not to even think about touching them.

Happy to be in the shade. We forgot to bring sunscreen because we weren't yet used to how warm it was.
