The section of the trail near our house is nearly complete. The trail is paved but there are holes every few hundred feet for utility boxes where the wiring for the lights will run under the path.

Soon the actual trail will run all the way down to the tidal basin, connecting to the mall and hundreds of miles of other bike paths!
