We bought a new Canon Powershot S5 IS in preparation for our trip to China. It's got a bit more zoom than our trusty Elph (12x vs 2x), it's also a bit heftier. Between the two cameras we should have all the bases covered!

The best part about a zoom lens is we can't even see what she's reading. Could be Shakespeare, could be a learned treatise of epidemiology. Could be a trashy romance novel. We'll never know.
