Day Nine: Koya-san
After staying up half the night to go to Nara, we slept in. After noon, we headed
to Koya-san, a remote mountain with many temples. Koya-san is the headquarters of a large sect of Buddhism
and many of the temples allow visitors to stay overnight. We stayed at a temple called Eiko-in which was absolutely beautiful. After
an amazing vegetarian dinner we soaked in hot baths and took a walk on a path near the temple.
